Gervais ‘intimidated by Hollywood stars’

RICKY Gervais has revealed that working with Hollywood’s finest would cause him to break out in a sweat.

Gervais, 48, star of The Office and Extras has worked with Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller and Samuel L Jackson but, while he entertains the idea of starring opposite Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood, it fills him with dread.

“There are people that I want to work with but I’m too intimidated,” said Gervais at the gala screening of his new film, The Invention Of Lying, at Bafta in central London.

He added: “I think they would catch me out finally. I’ve got away with murder until now and they would blow that.”
