STAND-IN skipper Ritchie Livingstone is hoping for yet more silverware with Cove Rangers.
The former Peterhead man is set to deputise for the injured Eric Watson and lead the champions out in the Evening Express Aberdeenshire Cup final on Saturday.
And he admits it would be an honour to lift the trophy as captain.
“It would be great to get the chance to lift a trophy as skipper of Cove,” he said.
Livingstone believes it is an ideal opportunity for new co-managers Jerry O’Driscoll and Kevin Tindal to get off the mark in charge of Cove.
He said: “It will be good if Jerry and Kevin can get a trophy early on in their managerial career.
“They have been under a lot of pressure because they have taken charge of a successful team.
“To get their first piece of silverware would be good for them, because it would take a bit of that pressure off and let them concentrate on the league and other cups.”
