Snappy Tomato Pizza: Huntly Street, Aberdeen

FOR a birthday treat my other half fancied his all-time favourite meal – pizza.

We ordered in from Snappy Tomato Pizza in Huntly Street which has plenty of choice, certainly enough to tempt the smallest and biggest appetites.

All the pizzas are made fresh in store with giant square bases – which make for plenty of delicious crispy crusts.

We went for the deal where you could buy one large pizza and get the second half price.

I fancied something fishy so went for the Seafarer pizza (£11.95 – half price in the special offer). The yummy base was slathered with tangy tomato sauce and topped with prawns, tuna, sliced tomato and cheese – a fantastic combination. The birthday boy went for the Wild West BBQ (£12.15). The normal tomato base was swapped for a smoky barbecue sauce crowned with chicken, bacon, onion and green pepper keeping my boyfriend munching away happily. With side orders of crisp onion rings (£1.99) and seasoned potato wedges (£2.99) the whole lot came to around £24.
