Eagle May: Park Street, Aberdeen

SATURDAY nights are, for me, all about indulgence and relaxation. So, after a week of chasing my tail, I decided it was take-out time.

Eagle May was a favourite during my student years, so my friends and I decided it was time to revisit.

We opted to share sesame prawns on toast (£3.10), and it just so happened that the four of us got a piece each.

The crunchy starter was full of flavour and a great way to start our feast.

As Anna is vegetarian, we shared the satay mushroom trio (£4.30) with fried noodles (£2).

The abundance of mushrooms made the dish filling, and the subtle peanut sauce was delicious.

Kristen opted for traditional Peking king prawn (£5.40). She said the prawns were great quality and the sauce was really tangy, but a bit on the sweet side.

Michelle chose the steak Canton (£5.40). She reported that the meat was tender and the sauce was rich.

Washed down with some Polish beer, this feast was near perfect and left us satisfied, but not over stuffed.
