Man admits sexually abusing children

A STONEHAVEN man sexually abused three children and threatened them with judo and karate so they would keep it a secret, a court heard.

James Anderson abused the youngsters at different times over a period of 13 years.

At the High Court in Glasgow, Anderson, 59, whose address was given in court papers as Laurieston House, Drumlithie, Stonehaven, admitted using lewd and libidinous practices towards a boy at an address in Glasgow in the 1970s.

He also admitted abusing a girl at addresses in Glasgow in the 1970s and another girl in the 1970s and 1980s.

Lord Turnbull deferred sentence until next month for background reports and Anderson was remanded in custody.
