Video: Lamborghini Gallardo bursts into flames

A LAMBORGHINI Gallardo burst into flames in Peterborough.

The 2005 model was worth around £75,000.

According to eyewitnesses, the bright orange car pulled up outside the Natural England offices in Northminster at about 8pm on Friday with smoke billowing from its engine.

Two men were seen to jump out of the vehicle before dashing off to call 999.

By the time firefighters arrived just minutes later, a huge crowd had gathered and people watched while they battled the blaze.

Firemen said the car's carbon fibre and alloy construction made it burn more intensely.
