SHE’S busy flying the world, penning hit songs and making her name overseas.
But singing star Sandi Thom is counting down the days to a summer wedding in Perthshire next year.
Chart-topper and Evening Express columnist Sandi was on cloud nine two months ago after revealing she was engaged.
And now she has sealed a date, arranged a venue and is planning the finer details with her gaggle of six bridesmaids.
Macduff-born Sandi was on holiday in Barcelona with her long-term boyfriend, Jake Fields, when he popped the question in May.
The 27-year-old singer said she had no idea he was going to ask to marry her because she was wearing her jeans.
Sandi said she had noticed Jake was a little nervous just before he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
She said her heart stopped when she knew he was going to pop the question.
Sandi said she wants a big family wedding – but famous names that could show up to the event include Scots X-factor star Leon Jackson.
Sandi told fans that she was getting in the wedding mood through her online blog.
She said: “In my life things are ticking along really nicely.
“I'm very excited about my wedding next year.
“We’ve chosen a date and a venue and I'm getting together with my six bridesmaids soon to talk about wedding dresses and flowers.”
