Man, 34, admits stealing from Aberdeen charity shop

A MAN has admitted stealing nearly £100 from an Aberdeen charity shop.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard Richard Rough broke into Cancer Research’s charity shop on Aberdeen’s Chapel Street, where he forced open a safe and stole £98.
He carried out the crime at the charity shop on or between May 4 or May 5.
And 34-year-old Rough also admitted breaking into Kilau Coffee, on Aberdeen’s Belmont Street, between May 5 and May 6.
Rough, who was listed in court papers as a prisoner in Aberdeen, admitted forcing open a cash register and stealing a sum of money.
Sentence was deferred on Rough, who was represented in court by defence agent Mike Allan, until later this month.
At Aberdeen Sheriff Court Sheriff Kenneth Stewart remanded Rough in custody.
