Bid to rob woman by attackers on Aberdeen street

A WOMAN was attacked by two men who tried to rob her on an Aberdeen street.

The 25-year-old woman was left with cuts to her face in the failed robbery attempt on a street in Aberdeen.

Police were today hunting two teenagers in connection with the attack near North Anderson Drive’s junction with Rosehill Drive, in Aberdeen, at about 2am on Sunday.

The two men involved in the attack in Aberdeen were both between 17 and 20. One wore a black beanie hat, black jacket with goggle eyes on the hood, and dark tracksuit trousers tucked into black socks and trainers.

The second man wore a white hooded jumper with G STAR printed on the front, dark blue baggy jeans and white trainers.

Police were also today hunting another man after a woman was robbed in a separate attack in Aberdeen city centre.

The 26-year-old victim was left very distressed but uninjured after her bag was snatched by a robber on an Aberdeen street.

The woman was attacked by the man as she walked along Skene Street in Aberdeen. Her handbag, containing about £10 in cash and personal belongings, was stolen.

Police were today looking for a man, believed to between around 5ft 7in to 5ft 9in and slim, who was in that area of Aberdeen at around 11.30pm on Saturday.
