Ex-Aberdeen FC ace to sign for Toronto

FORMER Aberdeen FC star Jamie Smith is set to complete a move to MLS side Toronto FC after impressing during a trial period at the Canadian side.
The former Aberdeen FC midfielder has been on the lookout for a new club after failing to win a new deal with Aberdeen FC after a season plagued by injury.
Smith was invited for a four-day trial period at Toronto, who sit third in the Eastern Division standings.
Now Toronto head coach Chris Cummins will formerly offer Smith a deal.
Aberdeen FC skipper Scott Severin, whose contract has also expired at Pittodrie, is still looking for a new club with Norwich, Burnley and Peterborough linked.
