Aberdeen teens admit damaging 12 cars

Teens kicked and punched cars on Aberdeen street

Published:

TWO teenagers have admitted damaging a dozen cars parked on an Aberdeen road.

William Forrester and Ross Kemp appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where they had previously pleaded guilty to a total of 12 charges of reckless or willful damage.

Forrester, 17, whose address was given in court papers as 77b Balnagask Circle, Aberdeen, kicked or punched the wing mirrors of six cars parked on Aberdeen’s Glenbervie Road.

Co-accused Ross Kemp, whose address was given as 251 North Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, also admitted kicking or punching mirrors on six separate cars on the same Aberdeen street.

All the offences happened on September 26 last year.

Sentence had previously been deferred for background reports.

But the reports for Kemp had not been prepared as he had failed to contact the social work department, the Aberdeen court heard.

Both are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court again next month for sentencing.
