Apple to open store in Aberdeen’s £250 million shopping complex

Major brands eye up Union Square

COMPUTER GIANT: Apple plan to open a store at Union Square.

APPLE is set to open a store in Aberdeen’s new shopping centre, the Evening Express can reveal today.

Computer giant Apple is advertising for staff for Aberdeen’s £250 million Union Square complex.

And other major international brands including Levis are looking to open shops in Aberdeen’s Guild Street complex.

Fashion retailers USC and Accessorize, jeweller Azendi, travel company Barrhead, Danish clothes firm Bestseller and Handmade Burger Co are also lined up for the Aberdeen centre.

The Aberdeen shopping and transport complex is due to open in autumn with Marks & Spencer already confirmed as the anchor store.
