AN ABERDEEN singer is making a bid for TV glory on Britain’s Got Talent.

Paisley McHugh is hoping to wow the judges on Britain’s Got Talent with her girl band Brit Chix.

Drummer Paisley, 26, along with band mates T and Maddy, will try to secure a place in the next round on Saturday.

The band – who have supported big names like McFly, the Ordinary Boys and Electric Six – will be seen playing a Girls Aloud cover on Britain’s Got Talent.

Paisley said: “It was really exciting to appear on Britain’s Got Talent.

“There were 2,000 people in the audience and all of our mouths were dry.

“Simon Cowell was really intimidating but Ant and Dec were really nice lads and they calmed us down.

“I can’t say what the result was but the voting was unanimous.”

Paisley was brought up in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don and went to Middleton Park Primary School and Oldmachar Academy.
