Don’t let Gunners be party poopers says Fergie

SIR Alex Ferguson is determined not to let Arsenal spoil his championship party today.

Ferguson’s Manchester United need only a draw with the Gunners at Old Trafford to clinch a record-equalling 18th title.

But former Dons boss Ferguson has warned his men they can’t afford to treat their London rivals lightly.

Ferguson said: “Arsenal will want to do well because they’ve had a bit of criticism recently.

“They will want to register their abilities on a day when everyone expects United to win the title. They are a threat.

“I’ve never cared where we win it but it would be nice to clinch things in front of our own fans.”
