Panda Valley: Rosemount Place, Aberdeen

IT WAS FRIDAY night and neither of us could be bothered cooking after another long week at work.
Thinking it had been a while since we’d had a Chinese – about a week or so – we decided to take a wander up to Panda Valley.
The mixed platter starter (£7.20) we plumped for was a super way to get the feast under way.
The vegetable pancake rolls, king prawn rolls, shredded seaweed and shredded chilli chicken (we chose that instead of chilli beef) were gorgeous.
The prawns were nice and juicy, while the chilli chicken was not too spicy for my mild palate.
And the lovely crisp seaweed was the perfect way to soak up the sweet dipping sauce.
My beef curry (£6.30 including rice) had a nice thick sauce with a slight kick, while the peas in dish counted for one of my five a day!
As ever, The Boss went for chilli beef (£6.80) and noodles (£3.30) and although tasty with large chunks of battered meat, the gooey sauce was a bit too vinegary for her.
