Hundreds of people are expected to attend the event in Aberdeen, which will be held exactly two weeks after the fatal Super Puma helicopter crash.
The couple will be among mourners at the Kirk of St Nicholas in Aberdeen for the service on Wednesday.
Two crew members and 14 passengers on Bond Super Puma helicopter flight 85N lost their lives when the craft plummeted from the sky into the North Sea.
A massive search operation was launched off the Aberdeenshire coast but no one survived the helicopter crash, which happened around 14 miles off Peterhead as the aircraft returned from BP’s Miller Platform.
The UK Oil and Gas Chaplaincy will conduct the memorial service for the helicopter crash victims at the Union Street church in Aberdeen which has seen communities mark similar tragedies in the past.
Since the helicopter crash, the Aberdeen city centre kirk has been open for prayer and quiet reflection as well as hosting a book of condolence.
The North-east lost eight men in the crash – Brian Barkley, 30; James Costello, 24; Alex Dallas, 62; Vernon Elrick, 41, all of Aberdeen; Warren Mitchell, 38, of Oldmeldrum; Leslie Taylor, 41, of Kintore; Stuart Wood, 27, of Newmachar; and Paul Burnham, 31, of Methlick.
And it also claimed the lives of Raymond Doyle, 57, of Cumbernauld; James Edwards, 33, of Liverpool; Nairn Ferrier, 40, of Dundee; Nolan Goble, 34, of Norwich; Gareth Hughes, 53, of Angus; David Rae, 63, of Dumfries; Richard Menzies, 24, of Droitwich Spa and Mihails Zuravskis, 39, of Latvia.
