HEARTFELT prayers have been said at churches across the North-east for the victims of helicopter flight 85N.

Churches were packed as people paid their respects to those killed in one of the North-east’s worst offshore accidents.

Heads were bowed and tears rolled down cheeks as the 16 victims of the helicopter crash were remembered by mourners.

At Aberdeen’s Kirk of St Nicholas, a constant stream of mourners arrived to pay their own silent tribute to the victims of the helicopter crash.
