A PERSONAL message from the Queen has been sent to the families of those lost on Flight 85N.

The relatives of the eight North-east men who died in the Super Puma crash received the words of comfort, along with a letter from Aberdeen’s Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost Peter Stephen.

And she expressed her “deepest sympathy” to the loved ones of the 16 men who perished when the helicopter crashed into the North Sea.
