A VIDEO of pranksters trapping Jeremy Clarkson in a portable toilet has become something of an internet hit.

The footage, shot at a classic car rally on the Spanish island of Mallorca earlier this week, shows Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson struggling to get out of a cubicle after a group of laughing men piled up tyres against the door.

Eventually the 48-year-old managed to topple the stack of tyres by kicking the door from the inside, and seemed to take the joke in good spirits, smiling and throwing up his hands as a crowd of onlookers cheered and laughed.

The video was filmed on Saturday but posted on Tuesday and has already been viewed more than 13,000 times.

Last month Jeremy Clarkson was forced to apologise after he was caught on camera calling Prime Minister Gordon Brown a “one-eyed Scottish idiot”.
