White ready for Scotland opener

ABERDEEN’S Jason White will start Scotland’s RBS Six Nations opener against Wales on Sunday.

Scotland coach Frank Hadden today unveiled his starting line-up for the Murrayfield clash.

Sale’s White has recovered from a recent operation on a dislocated finger.

Normally used as a flanker, White will start in the second row.

There is no place in the side for record points-scorer Chris Paterson, who is on the bench along with Aberdeen’s Chris Cusiter.

Mmmmmm - glad Whyte is playing and delighted Taylor has made it. Can't understand why Paterson isn't playing from the start - are we going to use our backs to score points? I hope so as the forwards look good on paper - see you Sunday.
