Domino’s Pizza: Wellington Road, Aberdeen

TALK about fast food! Within 20 minutes of clicking ‘place order’ on the Domino’s website, the pizza box was sitting on our coffee table.

The cheese and onion stuffed potato skins (£3.50 for three) got the meal off to a tasty, if stodgy, start.

To avoid arguments, we took Domino’s up on the offer to have two different pizza flavours on the one large pizza (£13.99).

So to my yin (the Premiere – chorizo, pepperoni, sizzling steak, pastrami and mozzarella) there was my fiancee’s yang (the Tandoori Hot – tandoori chicken, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and jalapeno peppers).

I had absolutely no complaints about my side. The chorizo gave the pizza a nice paprika kick while the other meats were soft and moist.

The tandoori side was more of a letdown. The chicken didn’t taste the slightest bit Indian and even the jalapenos were a bit lacklustre.

But we both managed to eat the lot, so that says something...
