THE best cure for biting weather is a spicy delight – and this Nepalese eatery offers a variation on all the Indian places around town.

After much pondering I opted for the hot chicken saag(£6.50) while my friend ordered Ghurka special prawn(£6.50).

To compliment these we had peshwari naan(£2), boiled rice (£2) mango chutney (50p), spiced onion chutney (50p) and poppadoms (50p).

The saag kept it’s fiery promise, but that didn't detract from the delicious blend of spinach, onion and garlic flavours.

My friend’s dish had a distinct coriander tang and contained good quality prawns.

Some of the other flavours, lemongrass and ginger, were drowned out though.

The more-ish peshwari naan had a cardamom taste, and the spiced onion chutney was one of the meal’s highlights.

For £19.45 we were left glowing, inside and out.
